Parla is completely free for tattoo artists! There is nothing to pay upfront and no monthly subscription.

The Parla platform comes with the following features: a hosted client intake form that goes in your bio, a booking dashboard with all of your briefs, client messaging, scheduling with Google Calendar sync, secure deposit collection, and email marketing tools that help you stay engaged with your customer base and drive repeat bookings.

No. Your Parla link works anywhere, whether that be your Instagram bio, your studio’s website or your own personal website. You can add the link anywhere it needs to go.

Parla is integrated with Stripe Connect. You can request a deposit via the Parla platform for all of your client enquiries. Once a deposit is requested, a secure checkout link is emailed to your client. Once they pay, you are immediately notified, and will receive the full deposit within 3 business days. A small, standard transaction fee is charged to the client on top.

Note: to use the deposit taking feature, you’ll need to set up a Stripe Connect account via the Parla platform. It’s completely free and takes about 5 minutes to set up.

That’s the goal! Parla brings your enquiries, briefs, client messages, scheduling, deposits and client list into one system, so you can retire the patchwork of forms, spreadsheets and DMs you’ve been juggling.

Our business model is built around taking a small cut of any deposit transaction fees, charged to the clients and never to the artist, that are requested via the Parla platform. This means we’re incentivised to come up with ways to help you generate more business.

Yes. We build every site from scratch, hand coded with no templates used. This means you get ultimate flexibility to realise your vision.

Every build includes a fully custom design, artist profile pages complete with portfolios and booking links, our booking system natively integrated into the site, and copy optimised to get you seen by both traditional and AI search. We also handle all the updates and maintenance after launch, so your site always stays current.

Projects start from $2000. This includes the full website build, design system development and ongoing maintenance.

Custom merch stores with SKU management via the Parla platform are available at an additional cost. If you already use a service like Big Cartel, this can easily be plugged in to the website.

We are based in Bondi Beach, Sydney, Australia! We work with artists and studios all over the world.

Parla is run by two brothers from Bondi Beach in Sydney. We’re software engineers and website developers by trade with connections to and a passion for the tattoo industry.

Parla was started when we noticed that every time we got a new tattoo, it was an unpredictable experience. Some artists preferred DMs, some booking forms, but there wasn’t an industry standard being used in Sydney. So we got in touch with a few artists we knew (big shout out to Konrad and Mish for being involved from day one), designed a product, got some feedback and then started testing it in the real world.

Parla is such a fulfilling project not just because of the awesome feedback we’ve gotten so far, but because it’s been really cool to see that software can still have a positive effect on real world businesses.
